Step Four - Applying the Rough Wood and Detailing the Front
A weathered redwood 1x6 fence board was used to make the wood pieces by cutting the redwood down to 1/8 inch thick with the rough/aged side showing. This stock was then cut into strips from 3/16 inch to 1/2 inch wide and to appropriate length.
The wood was attached using Beacon's 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue.
White styrene pre-formed strips were used for the door and window casings and attached to the wood with Beacon's 3-in-1 Advanced Craft Glue.
Premium aquarium gravel was used for the rock foundation and applied with GE Silicone 'I' clear rubber sealant for kitchen and bath.
